I used the slab technique to build a cylinder, cut out pieces and reassembled the edges to create a different silhouette shape. The décor is inspired by nature and the illustrations of the book "collection of natural curiosities" from Albertus Seba.

The influence of nature can be seen in many aspects of my ceramic art. I am often in the role of an explorer who is studying and documenting botanical and zoological species from nature. Instead of drawing them in a book, the observations are drawn on a ceramic vase.
